Seun Kuti Attacks Flavour, MTV Base Over His ‘Best Live Act’ Award

High-life Nigerian singer — Flavour has established himself in the music scene as one of the hottest act;  in 2014, he was given the award for ‘Best Live Act‘ at the recently held MTV Africa Music Awards.

Apparently Seun Kuti feels not only does the highlife singer not deserve the award but it should have been given to him.

The singer who just performed at his 66th show this year (yes, you read that right) live at the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Canada, posted a picture of himself on stage with the caption ‘#lifeondroad 66th show of the year. Nuff said. Calgary I couldn’t do my selfie too much sweat. Yes it was that strong. Who won best live act at MTV BASE again? Loooooool’.

Before hitting Calgary, Kuti performed at Missoula Montana, Portland, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Quebec, Amsterdam, Glastonbury, L.A, San Francisco among other cities.
